Sleep well. The stability of our mental health is directly related to how our brain is fully energized. When we say energized and recharged brain, we all mean to say that it has rested well, or in other words, you have slept well. When you feel like your tired and sleepy, listen to your body and give your brain the boosting  it needs.

Boost your concentration. This is a very common notion when we say mental exercise. This will elevate the brain’s level of dopamine  and norepinephrine, which are important chemicals for focus and attention. These brain chemicals are also necessary for our brain to perform the many executive functions such as planning, analyzing, prioritizing, organizing, initiating, and completing tasks.

Sharpen your memory. Another best way to keep your brain sharp is to exercise your memory.  Start from basic and simple things to memorize then step higher to a more challenging ones.

Reduce anxiety and stress. One major factor of mental health deterioration is stress. Make sure that you manage you stress and boost your mood to the positive side. Stress does not only cause danger to our body, but it also affects greatly our mental health.
